How is a consultation charged?
Each lawyer sets a per-session or per-minute price shown on their profile. Credit is held at booking and charged for actual use when the consultation ends; the rest returns to your wallet.
What if the lawyer does not accept?
If the lawyer declines, the request expires or you cancel before it starts, the held credit is returned in full.
Is what I tell the lawyer confidential?
Conversations are visible only to you and your lawyer. Staff access them only to investigate a complaint, under our privacy policy.
I need a lawyer to take my case to court.
Post it under "Get quotes from lawyers". Matching lawyers send quotes; when you accept one, contact details are shared and you agree and pay the legal fee with the lawyer directly.
