หมวด ๔ พิพิธภัณฑ์ซากดึกดำบรรพ์ธรณีวิทยาและธรรมชาติวิทยา

ซากดึกดำบรรพ์ที่ขึ้นทะเบียนที่อยู่ในความครอบครองของกรมทรัพยากรธรณีหากมีชนิดเดียวกันหลายชิ้น อธิบดีจะอนุญาตให้กระทรวง ทบวง กรม หรือหน่วยงานอื่นของรัฐเป็นผู้เก็บรักษาซากดึกดำบรรพ์ดังกล่าวไว้ก็ได้
