เหรียญรัชมงคลนี้ เป็นของสำหรับพระราชทานในงานกุศลรัชมงคล รัตนโกสินศก ๑๒๖ นี้คราวเดียว ผู้ได้รับพระราชทานนั้นได้เป็นสิทธิขาด แม้ถึงล่วงลับไปแล้วก็ไม่ต้องคืน แต่ผู้รับมรดกจะใช้ประดับกายไม่ได้ ได้แต่เก็บไว้เป็นที่ระลึก
