หมวด ๑ การรับขนคนโดยสารและสัมภาระ

ข้อกำหนดใด ๆ ในการรับขนคนโดยสารและสัมภาระที่มุ่งจะปลดเปลื้องผู้ขนส่งให้หลุดพ้นจากความรับผิด หรือที่มุ่งกำหนดเกณฑ์จำกัดความรับผิดให้ต่ำกว่าที่บัญญัติไว้ในพระราชบัญญัตินี้ให้ข้อกำหนดนั้นเป็นโมฆะ แต่ความเป็นโมฆะของข้อกำหนดเช่นว่านั้นไม่ทำให้สัญญาทั้งฉบับเป็นโมฆะและสัญญานั้นยังคงอยู่ภายใต้บังคับแห่งพระราชบัญญัตินี้
