หมวดที่ ๕ ว่าด้วยลักษณะปกครองอำเภอ

หมู่บ้านใดตั้งอยู่ใกล้ป่าพงอันเป็นเชื้อไฟ เมื่อถึงฤดูพงแห้งให้กรมการอำเภอสั่งราษฎรในหมู่บ้านนั้น ให้ช่วยกันถางพงให้เตียนออกไปห่างบ้านเรือน ป้องกันอย่าให้เป็นอัคคีภัยแก่หมู่บ้านนั้น
