หมวด ๗ ปริญญาและเครื่องหมายวิทยฐานะ

มหาวิทยาลัยมีอำนาจให้ปริญญากิตติมศักดิ์แก่ผู้ซึ่งสภามหาวิทยาลัยเห็นว่าทรงคุณวุฒิและคุณธรรมสมควรแก่ปริญญานั้น ๆ แต่จะให้ปริญญาดังกล่าวแก่ผู้ปฏิบัติงานในมหาวิทยาลัย นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัย หรือกรรมการสภามหาวิทยาลัย ในขณะดำรงตำแหน่งนั้นมิได้ ชั้น สาขาของปริญญา และหลักเกณฑ์การให้ปริญญากิตติมศักดิ์ ให้เป็นไปตามข้อบังคับของมหาวิทยาลัย
