(๑) ตาย
(๒) ลาออก
(๓) ขาดคุณสมบัติหรือมีลักษณะต้องห้ามตามมาตรา ๑๗ (๔) ไม่ผ่านการประเมินผลงาน
(๕) ถูกเลิกจ้างตามเงื่อนไขที่กำหนดไว้ในสัญญาจ้าง
(๖) คณะกรรมการนโยบายมีมติให้เลิกจ้างเพราะมีความประพฤติเสื่อมเสีย
