ในปีที่ใบอนุญาตตรวจสอบหรือรับรองจะสิ้นอายุ ผู้ตรวจสอบเอกชนซึ่งเป็นบุคคลธรรมดาจะต้องเข้ารับการอบรมทบทวนความรู้ตามที่กรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมกำหนด ก่อนยื่นคำขอต่ออายุใบอนุญาตตรวจสอบหรือรับรองตามข้อ ๘
