Section 8 พระราชบัญญัติเหรียญจักรมาลาและเหรียญจักรพรรดิมาลา พุทธศักราช 2484

เหรียญจักรพรรดิมาลาสำหรับพระราชทานข้าราชการฝ่ายพลเรือน ที่รับราชการมาด้วยความเรียบร้อย เป็นเวลาไม่น้อยกว่า ๒๕ ปี การนับเวลาราชการ ให้นับโดยคำนวณเวลาราชการทั้งหมดของผู้นั้นรวมกัน แต่ถ้าผู้นั้นเข้ารับราชการก่อนอายุครบ ๑๘ ปีบริบูรณ์ ให้นับตั้งแต่วันอายุครบ ๑๘ ปีบริบูรณ์เป็นต้นไป
