เมื่อผู้ซึ่งได้รับพระราชทานเครื่องราชอิสริยาภรณ์นี้วายชนม์ ผู้รับมรดกจะต้องส่งเครื่องราชอิสริยาภรณ์นี้คืนภายในกำหนดสามสิบวัน ถ้าส่งคืนไม่ได้ด้วยประการใด ๆ กองมรดกจะต้องรับผิดชอบ
