ตั้งแต่วันที่จะได้กำหนดไว้โดยพระราชกฤษฎีกา ให้ตั้งศาลจังหวัดขึ้นที่อำเภอไชยา จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี เรียกว่า “ศาลจังหวัดไชยา”
