คนสัญชาติไทยผู้เสียไปซึ่งสัญชาติไทยไม่ว่าด้วยเหตุใด ให้ไปขอใบสำคัญประจำตัวจากนายทะเบียนในท้องที่ที่ตนอยู่ภายในสามสิบวัน นับแต่วันที่ได้รู้หรือควรรู้ว่าตนได้เสียไปซึ่งสัญชาติไทย
