การขอบำนาญพิเศษต้องแสดงรายงานแพทย์ที่ทางราชการรับรองกับรายงานแสดงเหตุที่ต้องรับอันตราย ได้รับการป่วยเจ็บ หรือถูกประทุษร้ายนั้นด้วย ในกรณีดังบัญญัติไว้ในมาตรา ๔๓ ให้แสดงถึงเหตุการณ์อันทำให้ควรเชื่อได้ว่าผู้นั้นได้รับอันตรายถึงตาย
