(๑) ตาย
(๒) ลาออก
(๓) คณะกรรมการธนาคารให้ออกโดยความเห็นชอบของรัฐมนตรีเพราะบกพร่องต่อหน้าที่ มีความประพฤติเสื่อมเสีย หรือหย่อนความสามารถ
(๔) เป็นผู้มีลักษณะต้องห้ามตามมาตรา ๑๔
