เมื่อผู้กระทำความผิดตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ได้นำเงินค่าปรับตามมาตรา ๗ หรือค่าปรับตามจำนวนที่พนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ได้เปรียบเทียบตามมาตรา ๘ มาชำระแก่พนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้แล้ว ให้คดีนั้นเป็นอันเลิกกัน
