การแต่งตั้งผู้ใดให้ว่าที่ยศชั้นใดชั่วคราวตั้งแต่ชั้นนายหมวดตรีขึ้นไป ให้รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงมหาดไทยมีอำนาจแต่งตั้งผู้นั้นให้ว่าที่ยศชั้นนั้นชั่วคราวได้
