บำนาญพิเศษรายใดมีจำนวนยอดรวมไม่ถึงเดือนละสามร้อยบาท บรรดาผู้มีสิทธิจะได้รับจะยื่นคำขอเปลี่ยนเป็นรับบำเหน็จพิเศษแทนได้เป็นจำนวนเท่ากับบำนาญพิเศษหกสิบเดือน แต่ต้องไม่น้อยกว่าสามพันบาท
