Section 12 พระราชบัญญัติชื่อบุคคล พ.ศ. 2505

คู่สมรสมีสิทธิใช้ชื่อสกุลของฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่งตามที่ตกลงกัน หรือต่างฝ่ายต่างใช้ชื่อสกุลเดิมของตน การตกลงกันตามวรรคหนึ่ง จะกระทำเมื่อมีการสมรสหรือในระหว่างสมรสก็ได้ ข้อตกลงตามวรรคหนึ่ง คู่สมรสจะตกลงเปลี่ยนแปลงภายหลังก็ได้
