ในพระราชบัญญัติป่าสงวนแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. ๒๕๐๗ ให้แก้ไขคำว่า “รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์” เป็น “รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม” คำว่า “กรมป่าไม้” เป็น “กรมอุทยานแห่งชาติ สัตว์ป่า และพันธุ์พืช” และคำว่า “อธิบดีกรมป่าไม้” เป็น “อธิบดีกรมอุทยานแห่งชาติ สัตว์ป่า และพันธุ์พืช”
