หมวด ๑ การได้สัญชาติไทย
(๑) พิจารณาและให้การรับรองความเป็นคนไทยพลัดถิ่น
(๒) เสนอแนะและให้ความเห็นต่อรัฐมนตรีในการออกกฎกระทรวงหรือการดำเนินการใด ๆ เกี่ยวกับคนไทยพลัดถิ่นโดยไม่ต้องดำเนินการตามมาตรา ๒๗ (๓) ปฏิบัติหน้าที่อื่นใดตามที่รัฐมนตรีกำหนด
