Clause 16 กฎกระทรวง ฉบับที่ 29 (พ.ศ. 2519) ออกตามความในพระราชบัญญัติธนาคารออมสิน พ.ศ. 2489 ว่าด้วยการรับฝากเงินออมสิน

ในกรณีการฝากประจำ เมื่อครบกำหนดระยะเวลาการฝากและผู้ฝากไม่ถอนเงินต้นตามรายการที่ฝากหรือถอนดอกเบี้ยที่ได้ลงรับแต่ละคราว ให้ถือว่าผู้ฝากตกลงฝากประจำสำหรับเงินต้นหรือดอกเบี้ยนั้นต่อไป
