Section 10 พระราชบัญญัติเหรียญกล้าหาญ พ.ศ. 2521

ในกรณีที่บุคคลซึ่งสมควรได้รับพระราชทานเหรียญกล้าหาญตายเสียก่อนได้รับพระราชทาน จะได้พระราชทานแก่ทายาทโดยธรรมคนใดคนหนึ่งของผู้นั้น เพื่อเป็นเครื่องระลึกถึงความกล้าหาญของผู้ที่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว แต่ทายาทไม่มีสิทธิประดับเหรียญกล้าหาญดังกล่าว
