ส่วนที่ ๔ คณะกรรมการพัฒนาระบบราชการ

ให้มีสำนักงานคณะกรรมการพัฒนาระบบราชการ เป็นส่วนราชการในสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี ทำหน้าที่รับผิดชอบงานธุรการของ ก.พ.ร. และหน้าที่อื่นตามที่กฎหมายหรือ ก.พ.ร. กำหนด โดยมีเลขาธิการ ก.พ.ร. ซึ่งเป็นข้าราชการพลเรือนสามัญเป็นผู้บังคับบัญชาข้าราชการและลูกจ้างของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการพัฒนาระบบราชการ และรับผิดชอบการปฏิบัติราชการขึ้นตรงต่อนายกรัฐมนตรี
