บริษัทหลักทรัพย์จะรวมกันจัดตั้งสมาคมที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับธุรกิจหลักทรัพย์ซึ่งมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทำการส่งเสริมการประกอบธุรกิจหลักทรัพย์อันมิใช่เป็นการหาผลกำไรหรือรายได้แบ่งปันกันได้ก็แต่โดยอาศัยอำนาจตามบทบัญญัติแห่งพระราชบัญญัตินี้
