บุคคลใดที่ให้บริการเป็นนายทะเบียนหลักทรัพย์อยู่แล้วก่อนวันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับให้ดำเนินการได้ต่อไป แต่ต้องยื่นคำขอใบอนุญาตเพื่อประกอบการดังกล่าวภายในหนึ่งร้อยยี่สิบวันนับแต่วันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ เมื่อได้ยื่นคำขออนุญาตแล้วให้ดำเนินการต่อไปได้จนกว่าจะมีคำสั่งไม่อนุญาต
