ให้คณะกรรมการสถาบันส่งเสริมการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีตามประกาศของคณะปฏิวัติ ฉบับที่ ๔๒ ลงวันที่ ๑๖ มกราคม พ.ศ. ๒๕๑๕ ซึ่งดำรงตำแหน่งอยู่ในวันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับปฏิบัติหน้าที่ต่อไปจนกว่าจะได้มีการแต่งตั้งกรรมการตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ ทั้งนี้ ไม่เกินหนึ่งร้อยแปดสิบวันนับแต่วันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ
