หมวด ๕ สำนักงานป้องกันและปราบปรามการฟอกเงิน

ให้มีเลขาธิการคนหนึ่งมีหน้าที่ควบคุมดูแลโดยทั่วไปซึ่งราชการของสำนักงานและเป็นผู้บังคับบัญชาข้าราชการพนักงาน และลูกจ้างซึ่งปฏิบัติงานในสำนักงานขึ้นตรงต่อนายกรัฐมนตรีโดยจะให้มีรองเลขาธิการเป็นผู้ช่วยสั่งและปฏิบัติงานตามที่เลขาธิการมอบหมายก็ได้ เลขาธิการต้องปฏิบัติหน้าที่ด้วยความอิสระตามที่บัญญัติไว้ในพระราชบัญญัตินี้
