Section 8 พระราชบัญญัติบัตรประจำตัวเจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐ พ.ศ. 2542

บัตรประจำตัวซึ่งออกตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ให้ใช้ได้หกปีนับแต่วันออกบัตร เว้นแต่บัตรประจำตัวสำหรับเจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐที่มีวาระการดำรงตำแหน่งน้อยกว่าหกปีให้ใช้ได้จนถึงวันที่ผู้ถือบัตรครบวาระการดำรงตำแหน่ง และบัตรประจำตัวสำหรับเจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐผู้รับบำเหน็จบำนาญที่ใช้ได้ในวันที่ผู้ถือบัตรมีอายุครบเจ็ดสิบปีบริบูรณ์ให้คงใช้ได้ตลอดชีวิต
