Section 7 พระราชบัญญัติว่าด้วยการเข้าชื่อเสนอข้อบัญญัติท้องถิ่น พ.ศ. 2542

ผู้ใดกระทำการใดโดยไม่มีอำนาจโดยชอบด้วยกฎหมาย เพื่อมิให้ผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งในองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นใดสามารถใช้สิทธิเข้าชื่อเสนอข้อบัญญัติท้องถิ่น หรือขัดขวางการดำเนินการเข้าชื่อเสนอกฎหมายในองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นนั้น ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกตั้งแต่หกเดือนถึงห้าปี หรือปรับตั้งแต่หนึ่งหมื่นบาทถึงหนึ่งแสนบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ
