ให้บรรดากฎกระทรวง ระเบียบ หรือประกาศที่ออกโดยอาศัยอำนาจตามพระราชบัญญัติควบคุมการบำบัดโรคสัตว์ พ.ศ. ๒๕๐๕ ยังคงใช้บังคับได้ต่อไปเท่าที่ไม่ขัดหรือแย้งกับพระราชบัญญัตินี้ ทั้งนี้ จนกว่าจะได้มีกฎกระทรวง ระเบียบ หรือข้อบังคับที่ออกโดยอาศัยอำนาจตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ ซึ่งต้องไม่เกินหนึ่งร้อยแปดสิบวันนับแต่วันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ
