ความรับผิดกรณีเรือโดนกันตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงสิทธิหรือหน้าที่ของบุคคลหนึ่งบุคคลใดในหนี้ที่เกิดจากสัญญารับขนหรือสัญญาอื่น และไม่กระทบกระเทือนบทบัญญัติแห่งกฎหมายเกี่ยวกับการจำกัดความรับผิดกรณีเรือโดนกัน
