ให้บรรดาคณะ สถาบัน สำนัก ศูนย์ หรือส่วนงานภายในที่เรียกชื่ออย่างอื่นที่มีฐานะเทียบเท่าคณะที่สภาสถาบันอุดมศึกษาได้อนุมัติให้จัดตั้งขึ้นเป็นส่วนงานภายในหรือเป็นส่วนงานในกำกับของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาอยู่แล้วก่อนวันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ เป็นส่วนงานภายในของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้
