ถ้ามีการเจรจาเกี่ยวกับค่าเสียหายที่พึงจ่ายระหว่างผู้ประกอบธุรกิจและผู้บริโภคหรือผู้มีอำนาจฟ้องคดีแทนผู้บริโภค ให้อายุความสะดุดหยุดอยู่ไม่นับในระหว่างนั้นจนกว่าฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่งได้บอกเลิกการเจรจา
