การที่จะพาสัตว์พาหนะ คือ ช้าง, ม้า, โค, กระบือ, ข้ามคลองนั้น ให้ขึ้นลงได้ที่ท่า ซึ่งกำหนดไว้ให้เป็นที่สำหรับข้ามสัตว์พาหนะ ห้ามมิให้ผู้หนึ่งผู้ใดพาสัตว์พาหนะขึ้นลงในคลอง นอกจากท่าข้ามเป็นอันขาด ถ้าผู้ใดกระทำผิดต่อมาตรานี้ ผู้นั้นมีโทษให้ปรับผู้นั้นรายตัวสัตว์พาหนะเป็นเงินไม่เกินตัวละ ๑๐ บาท
