ผู้ใดฝ่าฝืนมาตรา ๑๗๔ ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินสามปี หรือปรับตามจำนวนไพ่ของกลางเป็นเงินสี่เท่าของราคาไพ่ที่กรมสรรพสามิตขายในประเภทเดียวกัน แต่ต้องไม่ต่ำกว่าห้าพันบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ
