ในกรณีมีเหตุควรสงสัยว่าสิ่งของที่มีผู้นำมาจำนำเป็นสิ่งของที่มีผู้ได้มาโดยการกระทำความผิด ให้ผู้รับจำนำแจ้งต่อพนักงานฝ่ายปกครองหรือตำรวจท้องที่ทันที
