หมวด ๔ การแจ้ง

ในกรณีที่ไม่รู้ตัวผู้รับหรือรู้ตัวแต่ไม่รู้ภูมิลำเนาหรือรู้ตัวและภูมิลำเนาแต่มีผู้รับเกินหนึ่งร้อยคน การแจ้งเป็นหนังสือจะกระทำโดยการประกาศในหนังสือพิมพ์ซึ่งแพร่หลายในท้องถิ่นนั้นก็ได้ ในกรณีนี้ให้ถือว่าได้รับแจ้งเมื่อล่วงพ้นระยะเวลาสิบห้าวันนับแต่วันที่ได้แจ้งโดยวิธีดังกล่าว
