ในการเกณฑ์ทรัพย์สินตามมาตรา ๑๑ เจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายทหารผู้มีอำนาจตามมาตรา ๑๗ อาจขอให้เจ้าพนักงานปกครองท้องที่ที่มีทรัพย์สินที่จะเกณฑ์ตรวจสอบว่ามีทรัพย์สินใดที่จะให้เกณฑ์ได้บ้าง
